Taroko gorge, Taiwan

This deserved a separate photo collection. This is one of the most beautiful places i have seen. Sadly Sharon had a sore foot so didn’t get to see it first hand.

The water is incredibly clear, I could see fish and shrimp type things without trying.

There was a small rock fall when i was walking, thankfully i was on a part of the path that was cut into the cliff. there was a sound of small stones from above then bigger ones, i went closer to the cliff and my hair started to stand on end, the adrenaline was pumping then a few rocks flew past a few feet from me. they were about from tennis ball size to football size. i waited for the sound to all stop and got the hell out of there.

This was a huge spider. spread your fingers out to get an idea of the size of its legspan.
