About 350km in 2 hours including 4 stops along the way. WOW. Most of the time it was 200km/h minimum up to over 288. The ride was smooth and comfortable, I still cant help felling ripped off in a twisted sort of way, its like i didn’t have time to enjoy the journey, like in the words of a not so famous song by one Kevin B Wilson, “and then it was over, before it began”. But it was fun.
The train itself looks impressive. Reclining seats, Vending machine, power socket in the seat. then i think back to the trip from Sydney to Melbourne on the state rail country train. Hmm, Australia needs these things.
