Hualien, Taroko gorge p

went to Taroko gorge today. it is magnificent. NZ no way. I would come here. will post pictures later. the water is crystal blue. fantastic walking track. tiny frogs, dragonflies, tiny lizards. it was wonderful.
the only thing that totally sucked was the bus timetable was in Chinese. the last bus back to the city was at 6pm. yesterday. 4:30 today. unfortunately we can only understand the numbers. we had to walk in the rain, luckily its warm rain, to the rangers office. the first guy was not helpful at all. the second guy was very helpful and organised a taxi for us. whilst waiting for the taxi another couple came over. same thing happened to them too. we shared the taxi cost back, NT$575 so not too bad.
