HK wetlands

We had a great day at the Hong Kong wetlands. To get there its a ride on the train then light rail which was fun as we both enjoy rail transport.
The wetland is real well set up with high quality paths everywhere and good signage in English. There is also a great lot of info at the visitor center as well as classroom type environment about 1/2 way round the track. Whilst wandering around you actually forget you are in a city until you look up and see 10 high-risk apartment buildings staring back at you.
There is a boardwalk which runs along the mangrove creek. I think the water level is artificially controlled. It was fantastic as it was low tide the entire time and we spent quite a while watching the crabs and mud skippers.
