Universal Studios

We are at LAX waiting for the London plane and I thought I better fill in an update.
We finally made it to universal studios on friday, it was quite good but as expected quite expensive. The best part for us was the studio tour where you board a tram and it goes around several movie and television sets. Most are outside but we went into some sound stages as well.
No roller coasters this time. We also checked out the special effects stage, sadly no pyrotechnics, also the animal actors, house of horrors, and waterworld, which were all very well done.

A real plane from the war of the worlds set

LA Ink

Not much to say. It looks the same as on the tv. Didn't see Kat. They don't use the florescent ink as it hasn't proven safe yet so no new tattoo.

Venice beach at the doctors

Now how does it go, oh yeah that's right, when in rome blah blah.
So after a stressfull few days of doing nothing we went to the beach and while there found some temporary relief. After a short visit to the doctor for assessment and then a trip to the dispensary it was the most stress free day I have had for a long time.

All perfectly legal.

You just never know what the day can bring

This morning we were undecided wether or not to go do our usual routine of vegas giveaways but we did anyway.
At the first stop, Casino Royale free slot play, I went to get a $2.15 foot long hotdog and while adding the condiments met a couple from Canada. We chatted for a while and then decided to do the rest of the free stuff together, Harrah's slot machine and Planet Hollywood press your luck. We ended up having a great day with some friendly people all because of a $2 hotdog. So, you just never know what's gonna happen.

Colin Hay of Men at Work

We have been at Freemont st at the free concert. All summer they are celebrating the 80's. It was fantastic, they played for over 2 hours and our ears are still ringing.
