New York New York Roller Coaster

Rob suggested it and i thought why not so off we went.

It was a real rough ride and we both suffered. Rob got a headache from his head being thrown around and i felt faint, im not good in a car so this was a heap worse. the good thing is now we have a cool video to share.

Mexico

We are back in vegas now but on the weekend we went down to Tijuana, Mexico on the us border. It was a bit odd just walking across the border to such a different country, there was no check when we exited the usa only on the way back in and we still have no idea what a mexican border security officer even looks like.
It reminded us a lot of asia, the place had the same sort of vibrancy and buzz as well as all the touts trying to pull you into their shop. Also as the legal age is 18 instead of 21 it attracts a lot of young americans in the evening who visit the red light and club district.
The part of town we visited seems to exist purely to cater to american tourists selling mainly pharmaceuticals, leather goods and mexican souvenirs.
We had lunch and I rode the mechanical bull then we wandered around for a few hours before returning to the usa with a bottle of tequila.

Vegas for free.

Basically we have been living for free. There are 3 free things to do every day. The first is a push button whammy machine at Planet Hollywood, the second is a free slot machine at Harrahs, these two are owned by Caesars and basically have the same prizes, free slot machine credit and $20 food voucher are the best things to get there is a chance to win $1 million and also a cruise as well as plenty of buy one get one free vouchers and heaps of chances for a souvenir. We usually get at least a food voucher or slot money each day along with a souvenir, a couple of days we have got only a souvenir but also a couple of days we have both gotten slot money and vouchers.
The third thing is the slot play on free machines at the Casino Royale. We haven't won anything here yet. It is basically jackpot only to win but does happen a few times per day so they say. Maximum prize is $5000 minimum is $100 but the chance of getting it is incredibly small, but it's free so who cares.
